What materials are used in Leesa mattresses?

Springs (Hybrid Mattresses Only)

  • Individually Wrapped Springs: 6- or 8-inch, 13.5- to 15-gauge springs move independently, helping reduce motion transfer while providing responsive support.
  • Zoned Support Springs: 8-inch, 13.5- to 14.75-gauge springs are arranged under the hips and lower back to provide firmer targeted support.
  • Perimeter Edge Support: 6- or 8-inch, 15.5- to 16-gauge reinforced springs are arranged along the edges to improve stability when sitting or sleeping.
  • Micro-Spring Layer: Available in the Legend Hybrid, Legend Chill Hybrid, and Reserve mattresses, these 0.75- to 1.5-inch, 17.5- to 19-gauge micro springs evenly distribute pressure and virtually eliminate motion disturbances.

Fire Retardant Layer

Our mattresses contain no fiberglass. They are crafted in our fiberglass-free factory using fire-retardant yarn with a rayon barrier. This chemical-free rayon fiber, derived from 100% regenerated cellulose, creates a protective layer that ensures both safety and comfort.

Certifications

Other certifications include GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified New Zealand Wool and GOLS (Global Organic Latex Standard) certified Natural Latex.
