How do I care for my Leesa furniture?

Keep your Leesa furniture looking great for years to come with these simple care tips.

Maintenance

  • Give it space: Keep the area around and under your base or frame clear. Adjustable bases need extra room for moving parts.
  • Protect from moisture: Dry spaces help prevent damage to metal, wood, and fabric.
  • Check hardware: Screws and bolts can loosen over time, especially after moving. Tighten as needed, but do not over-tighten.
  • Use pads on hard floors: Add felt pads or furniture glides to wood frames to prevent scratches and sliding.

Cleaning

General tip: Avoid harsh chemicals and do not soak any part of your furniture. Unplug adjustable bases before you clean them.

Metal and wood parts

  • Dust regularly with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth.
  • Clean spills on wood right away to prevent stains.
  • Use gentle, non-abrasive cleaners made for wood when needed.
  • Keep wood out of direct sunlight or use curtains to limit exposure.
  • Keep rubber or plastic items off wood surfaces, as well. They can react with finishes.

Fabric and upholstery

  • Vacuum upholstered parts with an upholstery attachment to remove dust.
  • Spot clean with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Go light, and avoid scrubbing.
  • Keep furniture out of direct sun to reduce fading.

Safety

  • Follow weight limits: Stick to the weight capacity in your manual.
  • Move with care: Lift rather than drag bases to prevent damage.
  • Keep manuals handy: Every base model has specifics, so keep your user manual in a safe spot for reference.
