Create your ideal sleep environment

Yes, you have your Leesa mattress and so you’re already sleeping better but like most things in life, there are always more ways to improve. Turning your room into a true sleep sanctuary is a great way to enhance the benefits of sleep on your Leesa.

Did you know that certain colors are more conducive to rest and relaxation? Try painting your room with blue tones to encourage relaxation. Read more about color on our blog.

Cleanup and organize your sleep space. Clutter, especially in smaller spaces, can lead to stress, which will definitely disrupt your sleep schedule.

The darker, the better! Dimmer or softer lights can help ease your mind and body into sleep. Remove harsh lighting from your bedroom and replace with softer light. Install curtains for your windows to help block out natural and streetlight. We are BIG fans of blackout curtains.

Keep your room cool and quiet. A warmer room is not ideal for sleep and can lead to restlessness and awakenings throughout the night. Instead, set the temperature between 60° and 68° F.

Ban technology from the bedroom. We are realistic and understand that’s a lot easier said than done. So start off by banning technology for 30 minutes leading up to bedtime. This tech-free time allows your brain time to slow down and prepare for rest.
